NAME Copy-DbaAgentProxy

SYNOPSIS

Copy-DbaAgentProxy migrates proxy accounts from one SQL Server to another.

SYNTAX

Copy-DbaAgentProxy [-Source] <DbaInstanceParameter> [[-SourceSqlCredential] <Pscredential>] [-Destination]

<Sqlcollaborative.Dbatools.Parameter.DbaInstanceParameter[]> [[-DestinationSqlCredential] <Pscredential>]

[[-ProxyAccount] <System.String[]>] [[-ExcludeProxyAccount] <System.String[]>] [-Force <Switch>] [-EnableException

<Switch>] [<CommonParameters>]

DESCRIPTION

By default, all proxy accounts are copied. The -ProxyAccounts parameter is auto-populated for command-line

completion and can be used to copy only specific proxy accounts.

If the associated credential for the account does not exist on the destination, it will be skipped. If the proxy

account already exists on the destination, it will be skipped unless -Force is used.

-EnableException [<Switch>]

By default, when something goes wrong we try to catch it, interpret it and give you a friendly warning message.

This avoids overwhelming you with "sea of red" exceptions, but is inconvenient because it basically disables

advanced scripting.

Using this switch turns this "nice by default" feature off and enables you to catch exceptions with your own

try/catch.
