NAME Copy-DbaSpConfigure
SYNOPSIS
Copy-DbaSpConfigure migrates configuration values from one SQL Server to another.
SYNTAX
Copy-DbaSpConfigure [-Source] <DbaInstanceParameter> [[-SourceSqlCredential] <Pscredential>] [-Destination]
<Sqlcollaborative.Dbatools.Parameter.DbaInstanceParameter[]> [[-DestinationSqlCredential] <Pscredential>]
[[-ConfigName] <System.Object[]>] [[-ExcludeConfigName] <System.Object[]>] [-EnableException <Switch>]
[<CommonParameters>]
DESCRIPTION
By default, all configuration values are copied. The -ConfigName parameter is auto-populated for command-line
completion and can be used to copy only specific configs.
PARAMETERS
-ConfigName [<System.Object[]>]
Specifies the configuration setting to process. Options for this list are auto-populated from the server. If
unspecified, all ConfigNames will be processed.
Required? false
Position? named
Default value
Accept pipeline input? False
Accept wildcard characters? false
-Destination [<Sqlcollaborative.Dbatools.Parameter.DbaInstanceParameter[]>]
Destination SQL Server. You must have sysadmin access and the server must be SQL Server 2000 or higher.
Required? false
Position? named
Default value
Accept pipeline input? False
Accept wildcard characters? false
-DestinationSqlCredential [<Pscredential>]
Login to the target instance using alternative credentials. Accepts PowerShell credentials (Get-Credential).
Windows Authentication, SQL Server Authentication, Active Directory - Password, and Active Directory -
Integrated are all supported.
For MFA support, please use Connect-DbaInstance.
Required? false
Position? named
Default value
Accept pipeline input? False
Accept wildcard characters? false
-EnableException [<Switch>]
By default, when something goes wrong we try to catch it, interpret it and give you a friendly warning message.
This avoids overwhelming you with "sea of red" exceptions, but is inconvenient because it basically disables
advanced scripting.
Using this switch turns this "nice by default" feature off and enables you to catch exceptions with your own
try/catch.

Accept pipeline input? False
Accept wildcard characters? false
-ExcludeConfigName [<System.Object[]>]
Specifies the configuration settings to exclude. Options for this list are auto-populated from the server.
