NAME Get-DbaInstanceProtocol



SYNOPSIS

Gets the SQL Server related server protocols on a computer.





SYNTAX

Get-DbaInstanceProtocol [[-ComputerName] <Sqlcollaborative.Dbatools.Parameter.DbaInstanceParameter[]>]

[[-Credential] <Pscredential>] [-EnableException <Switch>] [<CommonParameters>]





DESCRIPTION

Gets the SQL Server related server protocols on one or more computers.



Requires Local Admin rights on destination computer(s).



The server protocols can be enabled and disabled when retrieved via WSMan.





PARAMETERS

-ComputerName [<Sqlcollaborative.Dbatools.Parameter.DbaInstanceParameter[]>]

The target SQL Server instance or instances.

-Credential [<Pscredential>]

Credential object used to connect to the computer as a different user.

-EnableException [<Switch>]

By default, when something goes wrong we try to catch it, interpret it and give you a friendly warning message.

This avoids overwhelming you with "sea of red" exceptions, but is inconvenient because it basically disables

advanced scripting.

Using this switch turns this "nice by default" feature off and enables you to catch exceptions with your own

try/catch.

This cmdlet supports the common parameters: Verbose, Debug,

ErrorAction, ErrorVariable, WarningAction, WarningVariable,
