NAME Get-DbaMaxMemory
SYNOPSIS
Gets the 'Max Server Memory' configuration setting and the memory of the server. Works on SQL Server 2000-2014.
SYNTAX
Get-DbaMaxMemory [-SqlInstance] <Sqlcollaborative.Dbatools.Parameter.DbaInstanceParameter[]> [[-SqlCredential]
<Pscredential>] [-EnableException <Switch>] [<CommonParameters>]
DESCRIPTION
This command retrieves the SQL Server 'Max Server Memory' configuration setting as well as the total physical
installed on the server.
Results are turned in megabytes (MB).
PARAMETERS
-EnableException [<Switch>]
By default, when something goes wrong we try to catch it, interpret it and give you a friendly warning message.
This avoids overwhelming you with "sea of red" exceptions, but is inconvenient because it basically disables
advanced scripting.
Using this switch turns this "nice by default" feature off and enables you to catch exceptions with your own
try/catch.
