SYNOPSIS

Removes a Performance Data Collector Counter.





SYNTAX

Remove-DbaPfDataCollectorCounter [[-ComputerName] <Sqlcollaborative.Dbatools.Parameter.DbaInstanceParameter[]>]

[[-Credential] <Pscredential>] [[-CollectorSet] <System.String[]>] [[-Collector] <System.String[]>] [-Counter]

<System.Object[]> [[-InputObject] <System.Object[]>] [-EnableException <Switch>] [<CommonParameters>]





DESCRIPTION

Removes a Performance Data Collector Counter.





PARAMETERS

-Collector [<System.String[]>]

The name of the Collector to remove.

The name of the Collector Set to search.

The name of the Counter - in the form of '\\Processor(_Total)\\% Processor Time'.

Allows you to login to the target computer using alternative credentials. To use:



$cred = Get-Credential, then pass $cred object to the -Credential parameter.

-EnableException [<Switch>]

By default, when something goes wrong we try to catch it, interpret it and give you a friendly warning message.

This avoids overwhelming you with "sea of red" exceptions, but is inconvenient because it basically disables

advanced scripting.

Using this switch turns this "nice by default" feature off and enables you to catch exceptions with your own

try/catch.
