NAME Remove-DbaSpn

SYNOPSIS

Removes an SPN for a given service account in active directory and also removes delegation to the same SPN, if

found

SYNTAX

Remove-DbaSpn [-SPN] <String> [-ServiceAccount] <String> [[-Credential] <Pscredential>] [-EnableException

<Switch>] [<CommonParameters>]

DESCRIPTION

This function will connect to Active Directory and search for an account. If the account is found, it will attempt

to remove the specified SPN. Once the SPN is removed, the function will also remove delegation to that service.

In order to run this function, the credential you provide must have write access to Active Directory.

PARAMETERS

-Credential [<Pscredential>]

The credential you want to use to connect to Active Directory to make the changes

Required? false

Position? named

Default value

Accept pipeline input? False

Accept wildcard characters? false

-EnableException [<Switch>]

By default, when something goes wrong we try to catch it, interpret it and give you a friendly warning message.

This avoids overwhelming you with "sea of red" exceptions, but is inconvenient because it basically disables

advanced scripting.

Using this switch turns this "nice by default" feature off and enables you to catch exceptions with your own

try/catch.
