NAME Test-DbaDbDataMaskingConfig

SYNOPSIS

Checks the masking configuration if it's valid

SYNTAX

Test-DbaDbDataMaskingConfig [-FilePath] <String> [-EnableException <Switch>] [<CommonParameters>]

DESCRIPTION

When you're dealing with large masking configurations, things can get complicated and messy.

This function will test for a range of rules and returns all the tables and columns that contain errors.

PARAMETERS

-EnableException [<Switch>]

By default, when something goes wrong we try to catch it, interpret it and give you a friendly warning message.

This avoids overwhelming you with "sea of red" exceptions, but is inconvenient because it basically disables

advanced scripting.

Using this switch turns this "nice by default" feature off and enables you to catch exceptions with your own

try/catch.
