NAME Set-VAIOFilter



SYNOPSIS

This cmdlet upgrades a VAIO filter on the cluster it is installed.





SYNTAX

Set-VAIOFilter [-Filter] <VAIOFilter[]> [-VibUrl] <String> [-Server <VIServer>] [-Confirm] [-WhatIf]

DESCRIPTION

This cmdlet upgrades a VAIO filter on the cluster it is installed. The updated SPBM metadata of the VAIO filter

might not appear immediately in the list of capabilities. In case of failure, the exception contains a reference

to the VAIO filter as a target object.





PARAMETERS

-Filter <VAIOFilter[]>

Specifies the VAIO filter to upgrade.

-Server <VIServer>

Specifies the vCenter Server systems on which you want to run the cmdlet. If no value is given to this

parameter, the command runs on the default servers. For more information about default servers, see the

-VibUrl <String>

Specifies the URL that points to the VAIO filter VIB package. The accepted formats are HTTP and HTTPS.

Updates the $filter VAIO filter and sets the VIB URL to "NewVibUrl". The version of the new VIB should be higher

than the existing filter version.
